Silver Tungsten / Silver Tungsten Carbide Series (AgW/AgWC)
Silver tungsten (AgW) contacts exhibit high conductivity and thermal conductivity from silver base material and good fusion resistance, high wear resistance from tungsten. The tungsten composition of AgW series is generally around 40% to 80% produced by powder metallurgy methods of infiltration process or sintering-repressing process respectively. AgW series are often used for medium-high loaded circuit breakers and normally work with other material in pairs such as AgW goes with AgC or AgWC goes with AgWCC...etc.
